Culinary Students Going to SkillUSA States
On February 24th, 22 Sollers Point students competed in the Region 2 SkillsUSA Championships. Each contest tested the students knowledge and skills of their program. The students below are the ones who competed. The names in red placed on the podium and will advance to the state contest on April 14th.
Thank you to all instructors and their family who made the trip to Carrol County to be there to support our students. Congratulations to everyone, and good luck to all Sollers Point students competing at the State Championships. sponsors, Chef Cassano, Justin Rowlands and our students for a very successful Skills USA regional competition on Saturday.  I am very proud all of you and how you represented our school and programs.  Thanks also to Ms. Wyatt, Mr. Plantholt, and Mr. Tate for attending the competitions and supporting their students!
